N18 Groenlo-Enschede

On behalf of Rijkswaterstaat, the construction consortium Noaber18 is constructing a new road link between Groenlo and Enschede. The activities are part of the reconstruction and construction of the Twente route, between Zevenaar and Enschede.

The A18 / N18, also known as the Twente route, connects Zevenaar with Enschede. This connects two important urban areas (Nijmegen - Arnhem - Zevenaar and Almelo - Hengelo - Enschede).

The current N18 is a busy and unsafe provincial road that runs through various built-up areas. By means of a large-scale reconstruction and transfer, road safety and the liveability of the various cores will be increased. The reconstruction also benefits the flow and travel time on this important connection in the Achterhoek.

Gedin provides support and advise to the construction consortium Noaber18 in the area of Process Management and coördination of work transfer between design and realization. In addition, our colleague Karel Minnema was appointed as Coördinator of Delivery to transfer the project to 9 stakeholders and the client Rijkswaterstaat.
